About the Author

Tara Stevens is a British food writer based in Barcelona, Spain. Her features and recipes have appeared in magazines and newspapers all over the world, including Condé Nast Traveller, The Art of Eating and BBC Olive magazine.

As well as writing extensively on the culture of cuisine in her adopted country, Tara's love of taking the road less travelled in search of something good to eat has led her from the icy tundra kitchens of Greenland to the floating markets of Vietnam and Thailand.

Tara's most recent passion is for the food and cooking of Morocco, leading to the discovery of the remarkable Café Clock in Fez, and a camel burger, which is where this story begins. Clock Book: Recipes from a Modern Moroccan Kitchen is her first cookbook.
